Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the SAPPGA platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Membership

  • Membership is available to individuals and businesses in the pet grooming industry in South Africa.
  • You may choose from available membership tiers (Starter, Professional, Elite) with monthly or annual billing.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
  • SAPPGA reserves the right to modify membership tiers and pricing with 30 days notice.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All information you provide must be accurate, current, and complete.
  • You must not use another member's account without permission.
  • Notify us immediately at contact@sappga.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Platform Usage

You agree to use the SAPPGA platform only for lawful purposes related to the pet grooming industry. You may not:

  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
  • Upload malicious files, spam, or unsolicited advertising.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or platform systems.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without written permission.

5. Business Listings & Directory

  • Business listings are subject to admin verification before appearing publicly.
  • SAPPGA may remove or suspend listings that violate these terms or misrepresent a business.
  • Reviews and ratings must be honest and based on genuine experiences.

6. Courses & Certificates

  • Course content is provided for educational purposes and remains the intellectual property of SAPPGA and its instructors.
  • Certificates are issued upon successful completion of course requirements (e.g., passing a quiz).
  • Certificates may be verified publicly using the certificate verification tool.

7. Ranking & Accreditation

  • Ranking audits are reviewed by trained SAPPGA administrators.
  • Ranking decisions (Silver, Gold, Platinum) are at the sole discretion of SAPPGA.
  • RPL accreditation follows SAPPGA's assessment framework and is valid for 12 months.

8. Payments

  • All payments are processed securely through Paystack in South African Rand (ZAR).
  • Recurring subscriptions are charged automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • SAPPGA does not store credit card details on its servers.

9. Limitation of Liability

SAPPGA provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose. SAPPGA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

10. Termination

SAPPGA may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, access to member-only features will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
